“Are you sure you want to watch the game? We don’t have to.”

Carter rolls his eyes at me. “It’s fine. I figured I’d have to watch a game or two when I started dating an athlete.”

A satisfied smile I have no right to feel stretches across my face.

“Ugh. You look way too cocky right now.”

I flop down on the couch next to Carter, leaving no space between the two of us. I love how at home I feel here with him. “I’ve just never had someone to watch the games with on bye week.”

“Are you going to be really obnoxious and pick apart every play while we watch them?”

I shift, pinning him with a duh face. “I mean, that’s why I watch them. I need to know my opponent. We play Indy next week.”

“God, it’s like watching the games with my dad.”

“I hope it’s not quite like that.”

Carter quirks a brow in my direction. “Why do you say that?”

This time, I lean in even closer, dropping a kiss on the spot on his neck that I know gets him riled up. “There will be a very nice reward for you at the end of the game if you watch it with me.”

“At the end of the game?” His voice is husky. “Are you really going to make me sit here with a hard-on the entire game?”

“Consider it incentive for you to keep wanting to watch games with me.”

“You’re a sadist,” Carter grumbles.

I nip at his ear. “Not a fan of turnabout?”

“How is this turnabout?”

My gaze drifts down to his hard cock, tenting his pants. “I seem to recall you enjoying edging me.”

Carter groans, low and deep, and it sends sparks of pleasure straight to my own cock. “I really hate you right now.”

“Just remember that when you’re pounding into me later.”

“Okay, seriously. How am I supposed to watch the game with you doing this to me?”

“Stats. Think you can use that big brain of yours to help me find an edge against them?”

Carter huffs out a breath. “I mean, if you really want to know, I could give you some tips.”

“Wait, really?”

“Oh, what, now you don’t want my help?”

I pull back from him, all teasing gone. “Do I really need it?”

“I’ve been watching your games,” he says quietly.

“You like watching me play?”

“Don’t get a big head about it. But you’re losing some power in your legs because you rotate too far when throwing.”

I look down at said legs, as if they’ve done me a world of hurt. “So how do I correct it?”

“I thought we were supposed to be watching the game?”

Grabbing the remote, I flick the TV off. “Get your shoes on. You’re helping me now.”

This time, when Carter groans, it’s not in pleasure. “I’m a math teacher. How am I supposed to help you?”

Stepping into my shoes, I rest my hands on my hips. “You can’t tell me I’m losing power when I’m throwing and expect me to just take it lying down.”

“I’d rather have you lying down,” he mutters to himself.
